A Clear driving record - no more than
4 demerits on your driving record
You should be between the ages of 21

Fluency in both written and spoken English

and 1 Family (not a spouse)

Southland provides FREE
personalized in-house training for prospective part-time
drivers. The training occurs Monday through Friday in 4
hour periods, between 9:30AM - 1:30PM (during the school
year) and between 8:00am – 12:00pm and
1:00pm – 5:00pm (during holiday periods). Dependent upon
the individual, training lasts between 8 - 10 days.
CONSIDERING APPLYING FOR A DRIVING POSITION?
Southland has all applicants complete a pre-employment
questionnaire based on basic driving knowledge. Answers are
reviewed with each applicant and then those who qualify are
requested to continue with the application process. Filling
in all the forms along with the interview takes between 1
- 1-½ hours.
